Radhnagar Beach

The beach Radhanagar holds a position of pride among the people of Andaman and Nicobar islands. Located in Havelock island, the beach Radhanagar is also known as the beach number 7, like most beaches on the island are numbered. It is located only seven kilometres from Dolphin Yatra Niwas. The tranquility of the beach Radhanagar must be seen to be believed. The turquoise blue of the sea, sanitation, seeds of white sand on the beach and dense foliage when you give a shelter against the sun, memories you will not forget easily.

The panoramic view of the coastline, sea and the sky creates images that are captured forever in your heart. One has the impression of having near the beach. Privacy and scenic beauty has made the beach Radhanagar World 'seventh best beach and scoring to be the best beach in Asia by Time magazine in 2004. The wealth of flora and fauna of Radhanagar beach made it a favorite for lovers of nature. It gives you the perfect place to escape civilization. The water is packed with some of the most beautiful coral reefs, lending the water a single hue of blue turquoise. In addition to the usual activities of swimming and sunbathing, beach Radhanagar offers some of the best spots for snorkeling, with some beautiful reefs marked the shore. Some shanties along the beach also offers rent masks and flippers to dive at a rate of Rs.50 each.

There are several ways to get Radhanagar Beach. While walking is the most common, you can even take buses running regularly in the region, sharing trucks or rent bikes and cycles of the beach. Another popular activity is the island campsites, managed by the Office of Tourism Andaman, which rents pre-established tents in a range of Rs.150 to Rs.500. Although some elephant rides provide a memorable experience, sunsets on the beach Radhanagar is the most beautiful sight and not to be missed!
